Kinetic Emcees are a Portland based Hip-Hop group comprised of three emcees; each unique in style and delivery. Emcees TheMidniteKid, Kiew Nikon, and Freequency focus on lyrical content, word play, and creativity. The beats are inventive and rejuvenating. Tracks are produced by Freequency, Kiew Nikon, and Enki(NYC). Their style influences people of all types and music lovers’ of all genres.
The live show is where Kinetic Emcees standout, having performed with amazing artist such as Talib Kweli, Atmosphere, Blackalicious, Pharcyde, Alkaholiks, Living Legends, P.U.T.S. and more. As a collective they are innovative, dedicated, and professional. With the energy they bring to shows, it’s obvious they are veterans to the game. Kinetic Emcees look forward to making a name for themselves in 2013, the “Year of the Snake”.
The first EP off the “Year of the Snake” collection is available for download and stream on bandcamp and soundcloud. Kinetic Emcees are working to complete the entire collective by the end of the year. In the meanwhile, look out for the Single “Drowning” by the end of summer 2013.
